  • FAS9000, FAS8200, FAS2650, FAS2620 and later models

Description

Most AFF and FAS hardware models have one or more USB Type A ports.  However, not all models support use of that port for external USB devices for use with activities such as boot_recovery or coredump saving. This support was added with AFF and FAS models introduced with ONTAP 9.1.
