Commvault IntelliSnap backup fails because Commvault jobs are scheduled too close

Issue

  • The snapvault backup job from Commvault fails with the following error:

DataFabric Manager Backup Job id [<job-id>] did not complete successfully for Dataset id [<uuid>:app_type=AIQ_UM,type=storage_service_subscription,uuid=<uuid>], Source Copy [7]. DFM Job Status = [Failed to update SnapMirror relationship '<relationship name>'. Error: SnapMirror relationship is not in idle status (current status = 'TRANSFERRING')..].

  • The Unified Manager audit.log generates the error:

<date> [:NOTIC]:intellisnap:API:err:[<IP>]::Object '<target volume>' is already subscribed to storage service '<Storage-Service-Name>' with context '<context>'
