CHW-1885: AFF A320: "CHASSIS POWER SUPPLY NEED TO BE REPLACED" AutoSupport after PSU replacement

Issue

  • On AFF A320 systems, both nodes in the chassis continue to report power supply unit (PSU) errors after the PSU has already been replaced.

  • The following are example events for this issue:
    env_mgr: monitor.chassisPowerSupply.degraded:debug]: Chassis power supply X is degraded: PSU2 Volt Out is Critical High (YYYY mV)
    monitor.chassisPowerSupply.degraded:debug]: Chassis power supply X is degraded: PSUX Curr Out is Critical Low (0 mA)
    env_mgr: monitor.chassisPowerSupply.degraded:debug]: Chassis power supply X is degraded: PSU2 Power Out is Critical Low (0 W)
    env_mgr: callhome.chassis.ps.replace:debug]: Call home for CHASSIS POWER SUPPLY NEED TO BE REPLACED: PS X

  • The following is an example of "system node environment sensors show" output showing PSU sensor issues:
    ...
    PSUX fru fault normal MULTIFAULT
    PSUX FRU Switch discrete normal normal ON
    PSUX FRU Power discrete fault normal LOW
    PSUX FRU Current discrete fault normal LOW
    PSUX FRU Voltage discrete fault normal HIGH
