Issue

  • ICMP ping to BMC IP address fails
  • BMC is unresponsive and reboots with the following observed events
  • EMS:
    [sp.heartbeat.stopped:error]: Have not received a IPMI heartbeat from the Service Processor (SP) in last 600 seconds.
    [sp.heartbeat.resumed:info]: Received IPMI heartbeat from the Service Processor (SP).
  • SP-LATEST-SYSTEM-EVENT-LOG:
    [BMC.critical]: SFPGA: Loaded Primary image
    [BMC.notice]: eMMC SLC: 0% - 10% device life time used
    [BMC.notice]: eMMC MLC: 0% - 10% device life time used
    [BMC.notice]: eMMC Pre EOL: Normal
    [BMC.notice]: Running primary version XX
