Issue

  • A BMC reboot triggers system fans to initially run at 100% duty cycle, per the policy.
  • Once the BMC is back online, system fans can take over 21 minutes to reach the lowest steady-state fan speed
  • System operation is unaffected by the higher fan speeds, but there are higher noise levels than expected over that time frame.
