Issue

  • Shelf reports SES status critical warning.

SAS expander warning for SAS shelf electronics X: non-critical status; Backplane VPD SEEROM corrupt or unreadable.

  • A mismatch between the two registers called Vital Product Data (VPD) 16 and 17 will result in a shelf fault being reported in the AutoSupport environment or storage-fault sections.
