Issue
- The following command fails on a partitioned disk right-sized into a smaller aggregate with a whole disk of appropriate size:
::*> disk replace -disk VMw-1.31 -action start -replacement VMw-1.28
Error: command failed: Disk VMw-1.28 is not of appropriate size.
- The system should partition the new disk but fails with the error below seen in the EMS:
[cluster-01: mgwd: raid.disk.replace.job.failed:error]: Failed to replace
disk 1.20.0 with disk 1.10.11.
Reason: Reserve: Unable to reserve disks on source node cluster-01.
