Description

  • The hot shelf removal procedure requires that all disks within the shelf are spares, failing to do so will cause a system outage and data loss
  • One method of returning each disk on the shelf to a status of spare is to use the "storage disk replace" command to move the contents of each file system disk to spare disks residing on other shelves owned by the node
