Service Processor cannot obtain network configuration using DHCP

Issue

Node reports the following error in event logs:
 
[NODE1: servprocd: sp.dhcp.failure:error]: Service Processor cannot obtain network configuration using DHCP.
 
 
 
DHCP is enabled but no IP address is configured on the SP:
 
::> run -node node1 -command sysconfig -a
 
Service Processor Status: Online
Firmware Version: 3.10
Mgmt MAC Address: 00:XX:XX:XX:XX:38
Ethernet Link: up, full duplex, auto-neg complete
Using DHCP: yes
