Issue

  • Multiple drives reporting as Failed-Unsupported on the cluster

62.12: NETAPP X425_HCBEP1T2A10 NA00 0.0GB 0B/sect (Failed-Unsupported)
62.13: NETAPP X425_HCBEP1T2A10 NA02 1142.3GB 520B/sect (KZH8G66E)
62.14: NETAPP X425_HCBEP1T2A10 NA02 0.0GB 0B/sect (Failed-Unsupported)

  • EMS Messages such as the below can be observed on the system:

::>event log showscsi_cmdblk_strthr_admin: scsi.cmd.pastTimeToLive:error]: Disk device 0a.07.0: request failed after try #1: cdb 0x12. 
scsi_cmdblk_strthr_admin: disk.init.err.unsupported:error]: Disk 0b.07.0 is not recognized as a supported disk and cannot be used on this node.
