How to use boot menu option "(6) Update flash from backup config." within ONTAP

  • Typical boot device replacement procedures use the system node restore-backup command to copy node configuration information back to the node with the boot device replaced. 
  • While this is the recommended procedure, there might be reasons this command is not available to utilize in all situations.
