FAS9000 Emergency shutdown after IO card changed from 40Gb NIC to 32Gb FC HBA

Issue

  • Power off node, replace the 40Gb NIC in slot 1 with a 32Gb FC HBA. After power on, ONTAP prompts chassis temperature is too high then emergency shutdown the node.
