Issue

  • Disk shelf DS2246 reports UT WARNING alerts and after a while the warning gets auto corrected.

[FAS-01: statd: monitor.shelf.warning:warning]: Fault reported on disk storage shelf attached to channel 0a. Check fans, power supplies, disks, and temperature sensors.
[FAS-01: monitor.shelf.fault.ok:info]: Fault previously reported on disk storage shelf attached to channel 0a has been corrected.
[FAS-01: monitor: monitor.globalStatus.ok:info]: The system's global status is normal.

  • Though the temperature in the Data Center is normal, the warning is generated daily and goes back to normal state after some time.
