Issue

  • The below message is seen from the events logs after the shelf chassis replacement.
Fri Jun 23 13:40:21 -0400 [node2: dsa_worker4: ds.sas.id.conflict.detected:error]: SAS shelf on channel 0d (shelf ID: 0, S/N: 021803001631) reported a shelf ID conflict.
Fri Jun 23 13:40:41 -0400 [node2: dsa_worker2: ds.sas.id.conflict.cleared:notice]: Shelf ID conflict on channel 0d (shelf ID: 0, S/N: 021803001631) was cleared.

  • Physically verify the Shelf ID displayed on the shelf. Confirm shelf ID is set to 00 and is reporting green LED.
