Issue

An unexpected Controller reboot.

  • excLogShow reports an entry similar to the following:

---- Log Entry #6 FEB-21-2014 10:27:00 PM ----

Unexpected PCI bus width x4 for BDF[2,0,0] REBOOTING.

  • The Controller locks down during firmware upgrade.
  • During upgrade, the following error is seen against the controller and seven-segment shows L3

Unexpected PCI bus width x4 for BDF[2,0,0] TRIGGERING LOCKDOWN
