Event Summary
StorageGRID reports LowMetadataStorage indicating the space available for storing object metadata is low.
Validate
From the StorageGRID GUI, verify the "Object metadata used" under the Nodes page.
Resolution
- Upgrade to the latest StorageGRID 11.7 version to have fixes for meta-data space usage
- Verify if the meta-data reserved space can be increased:
- Confirm the nodes have enough memory to allow compaction to run succesfully
- Consider expanding the GRID: StorageGRID reports LowMetadataStorage due to meta-data space being almost full
- Some additional problems regarding metadata:

Additional Information
Once new Storage Nodes are added, the system automatically rebalances object metadata across all Storage Nodes, and the alarm clears.
