Event Summary

StorageGRID reports LowMetricsDiskCapacity indicating the space available for the metrics database is low.

Validate

  1. Login to the Primary Admin node with SSH
  2. Run df -h
  3. Verify space usage under /var/local/mysql_ibdata
  4. Run storagegrid-status command and verify the status of the prometheus service

Resolution

  1. If running StorageGRID 11.6.0.2 or earlier, upgrade to 11.6.0.3 or higher
  2. Contact NetApp Technical Support if the available space continues to decrease and above articles are not applicable.
