Issue

  • SHLH alarm is detected for one storage volume.

SHLH alarm is detected for one storage volume

StorageGRID SHLH alarm is detected for one storage volume

  • IO error for the storage volume is detected in bycast.log. 

ERROR    1348 STOR: Reading volID file failed with error 'ERR_UNKNOWN'
ERROR    1495 STOR: /var/local/rangedb/B failed integrity check
ERROR    0394 SVMR: Integrity check on volume B has failed with reason 'OSCF'

  • Filesystem error is detected in kern.log.
  • I/O error is returned by accessing the storage volume.

# cd /var/local/rangedb/B
# ls -latr
ls: cannot open directory '.': Input/output error
