Event Summary

StorageGRID Grid Manager reports the following alert: Appliance DAS drive fault detected – A problem was detected with a direct-attached storage (DAS) drive in the appliance.

Validate

Login to the StorageGRID Grid Manager, and confirm the "Appliance DAS drive fault detected" is present under Alerts section. 

Resolution

  1. Ensure the drive is correctly installed and connected. Refer to the installation instructions for your appliance.
  2. If necessary, replace the drive. Please engage NetApp Technical Support for further assistance.
