Event Summary

  • StorageGRID Grid Manager reports one of the below alerts for compute controller power supply:
    • Appliance compute controller power supply A has a problem
    • Appliance compute controller power supply B has a problem

Validate

Login to the StorageGRID Grid Manager, and confirm the "Appliance compute controller power supply % has a problem" is present under Alerts section. 

Resolution

  • This alert might indicate that a power supply has failed or that it has a problem providing power. 
  • Check the hardware components for errors, and follow the recommended actions:
    • If you have an SG100, SG1000, or SG6000, use the BMC.
    • If you have an SG5600 or SG5700, use SANtricity System Manager.
    • If necessary, replace the component. Please engage NetApp Technical Support for further assistance.
