Issue

The following AutoSupport alert is sent when one or more ISLs are down between the two cluster network switches:

Message ONTAP version
ClusterIfIslDownWarn_Alert ONTAP 9.9.1 and later
SwitchIfIslDownWarn_Alert ONTAP 9.8 and earlier
  • If any of these ports go down, or if they were never configured when the switch was brought online, that alert will be reported at regular intervals, until the configuration is corrected.
