Description

Windows evtx logs will not have any message details for any modules that do not exist on the host that opens the files.  If a local computer does not have MPIO installed and opens evtx logs from a Windows machine that have MPIO events, those events will simply display the message:

The description for Event ID XX from source mpio cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

This KB lists what some common MPIO events are by event ID
