Issue

  • One storage node reporting failedSpaceTooFull alert as below (value of X might be any value over 24%) and not being cleared out .

failedSpaceTooFull - Slice Service is using X% of the space reserved for failed writes. Call SolidFire Support to resolve this issue.

  • Another storage node reporting  sensorReadingFailed  alerts as bleow: 

sensorReadingFailed - IPMI diagnostics are currently unresponsive. Please contact support if this problem persists.

sensorReadingFailed - BMC Self Test failed. This may impact IPMI based services and a BIOS/BMC update may be recommended.

  • ESXI nodes seem to have issue accessing the storage. Some VMs are not responding.
