Description

This article describes how to troubleshoot "Cluster not reporting"

  • Alert in the NetApp SolidFire Active IQ dashboard: Cluster not reporting: 3x minutes
  • AutoSupport alert code: Cluster has not reported to Active IQ in over 30 minutes

The alert is generated when the information is not sent from management to ActiveIQ server ( monitoring.solidfire.com ) more than 30 minutes. Which triggered by various causes as below.

  • mNode reinstallation/upgrade
  • Transient network issues
  • Firewall rules changes on the network
  • DNS is not resolving hostnames
  • Outage
  • Proxy settings outdated
  • Maintenance task
  • Cluster password has been changed
  • Cluster is archived in AIQ
  • An issue on AIQ side
  • Cluster has ownership issue
