Description

  • Connectivity, Liveness, Availability Monitor (CLAM), is a feature of ONTAP used by each node in the cluster to monitor the availability of the other nodes.
  • When CLAM detects a problem, it will initiate an HA takeover of the node(s) thus moving data services to the nodes partner.

Note: See What is CLAM for further details on what CLAM does.
