ONTAP node decommissioning fails referencing load-sharing mirror volumes

  • Node decommissioning (cluster remove-node command)

Issue

  • The cluster remove-node command fails with a message similar to the following:
Error: [Job 65661] Job failed:   Node "Cluster01-03" has 2 volumes. Please either move or delete them from the node before removing the node.  The volumes are: <svm1, svm1root_m2>, <svm2, svm2root_m2>
  • The volumes referenced are SnapMirror destinations and are read only
  • A snapmirror break command fails with the following:
Error: snapmirror break is not allowed for destination Cluster01://svm1/svm1root_m2 in a load-sharing relationship.
