Answer

  • No, there is no impact if SSH login for local users is disabled.
  • AD users with SAML authentication can also be configured to use SSH login.
  • All actual permitted operations and settings are based on the roles and permissions granted by ONTAP, not the user type (AD user or local user).

Additional Information

Note: When logging into BMC via SSH, only local users are allowed. AD users cannot be configured for BMC SSH login.
