AD users with SAML authentication can also be configured to use SSH login. All actual permitted operations and settings are based on the roles and permissions granted by ONTAP, not the user type (AD user or local user). Additional Information Note: When logging into BMC via SSH, only local users are allowed. AD users cannot be configured for BMC SSH login.
