- Typically AutoSupport is sent both to internal to your company destinations and NetApp to take advantage of resources such as the Active IQ Digital Dashboard and overall benefits of AutoSupport.
- When sensitive data exists, typically the process can be followed as to how to remove sensitive data from AutoSupports before sending to NetApp.
- However, in some uncommon situations there may be a desire to only send to internal destinations only (as specified in the -to, -noteto, or -partner-address parameters) and not to NetApp technical support at all.
