Answer

  • Generally, the SSL certificate is used for System Manager and AIQUM.
  • Replacing the Self-Signed SSL certificate with Certificate Authority (CA) signed certificate will impact HTTP connection from System Manager / AIQUM / other application using ZAPI to the ONTAP system Vserver.
  • There will be no impact to NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, or FCP.
