Temperature Sensor Warning on FAS2650 and AFF A200

Issue

  • The shelf reports over-temperature on temprature sensor.
  • EMS log shows the following error.

Example:

Node1: dsa_worker3: ses.status.temperatureError:error]: DS224-12 (S/N SHFxxx) shelf 0 on channel 0b temperature error for Temperature sensor 11: critical status; overtemperature failure. Current temperature: 173 C (343 F). This module is on the rear of the shelf at the top left, on shelf module A.
 
[ses.status.temperatureWarning:alert]: DS224-12 (S/N ***********) shelf 0 on channel 0b temperature warning for Temperature sensor 11: non-critical status. Current temperature: 0 C (32 F). \220\226m\204 .
