Issue

  • New FAS 70 nodes: node5 and node6 were added to the cluster recently.
  • There is an issue with their HA interconnect that is impacting failover capabilities:

-------------- -------------- -------- -------------------------------------
node1   node2   true     Connected to node2
node2   node1   true     Connected to node1
node3   node4   true     Connected to node4
node4   node3   true     Connected to node3
node5   node6   false    Waiting for node6, Takeover is not possible: Storage failover interconnect error, NVRAM log not                          synchronized, Disk inventory not exchanged
node6   node5   false    Waiting for node5, Takeover is not possible: Storage failover interconnect error, NVRAM log not
                         synchronized, Disk inventory not exchanged
6 entries were displayed.

  • Although the physical links are up for HA interconnect, the RDMA connections are down:

cluster::*> system ha interconnect status show
