System FAN RPM is high and the noise is loud

Issue

  • Noise from FAN is loud.
  • system node environment sensors show indicates that the FAN speed of the affected node is higher than that of the other nodes.
  • SP-LATEST-IPMI log in AutoSupport also indicates that the FAN speed of the affected node is higher than that of the other nodes.
