system fails to boot with "System DIMM configuration is not supported"

Issue

The storage system fails to boot and halts by itself. The following error message is reported when the storage system boots:

Example:

System DIMM configuration is not supported on FAS8200
Please check the DIMM placement on SLOT-1 SLOT-2 ...
Halting...

Example:

DIMM missing in slot DIMM-2

DIMM missing in slot DIMM-3

System DIMM configuration is not supported by FAS8020

Example:

System DIMM configuration is not supported on FAS2620
Please check the DIMM placement on SLOT-1 ...
Halting...
