Issue

  • Thin provisioned luns under thin provisioned volumes are offline with space-error due to aggregate going out of space
    EMS.Log:
    LUN.out.of.space:EMERGENCY]: LUN /vol/VOL1/LUN1, vol VOL1 (DSID 1111) is out of space (UUID: xxxxxx-xx-xx-xx-xxxxxx).
  • Space-Allocation parameter is disabled for the lun.

cluster1::> lun show -vserver vs1 -path /vol/vol1/lun1 -instance
Space Reservations Honored: false
Space Allocation: disabled
State: space-error
