  • NS224 shelf status is critical due to fan failure:

  • The following alerts are reported in the event logs:

8/18/2025 10:37:00 node1 EMERGENCY monitor.globalStatus.critical: Disk shelf fault.

8/18/2025 10:00:00 node1 ALERT monitor.shelf.fault: Critical fault reported on disk storage shelf attached to channel 0x. Check fans, power supplies, disks, and temperature sensors.

  • Swapping fans, showed the error followed the faulty fan.
