  • EMS logs report shelf fault and raise health alert:

[cluster-01: statd: monitor.shelf.warning:error]: Fault reported on disk storage shelf attached to channel 0x. Check fans, power supplies, disks, and temperature sensors.

  • Shelf module reports boot device fault in storage show fault -v command output (or STORAGE-FAULT AutoSupport section:
