Issue

  • Multiple DIMMs fault causes the node to panic. Errors during boot:

DIMM:1 mapped out. BIOS MRC mapped out DIMM. Major / Minor Error Code: 0x26 / 0x00
Complete channel mapped out.
System Reset Requested.
BIOS Version: 11.20

DIMM:2 mapped out. BIOS MRC mapped out DIMM. Major / Minor Error Code: 0x31 / 0x15
Complete channel mapped out.

 

Initializing System Memory ...
DIMM:1 mapped out. BIOS MRC mapped out DIMM. Major / Minor Error Code: 0x31 / 0x14
Complete channel mapped out.
 

  • Tried reseating DIMMs one by one, same issue.
  • Tried swapping the DIMMs in slot 1 and 2 but same situation. Error on DIMM1 starting coming for DIMM2 and vice-versa.
