Description

When configuring a new or repurposed HA pair, root-data partitioning or root-data-data partitioning is available.  When Advanced Disk Partitioning (ADP) is utilized, ONTAP will automatically attempt to use as many disks as possible according to the limits within Hardware Universe (HWU) assuming at least that many are installed.  Alternatively it is possible to configure the HA pair with fewer than those number of disks partitioned.
