Issue

  • Flash cache degraded and EMS log reports below alert:

[NodeName: fmm_main: fmm.threshold.bank.offline:debug]: Flash Cache in slot 3: Percentage of failed flash LUNs in flash bank at 3/3/7 (slot/channel/bank) exceeded the critical threshold. The flash bank will be taken offline.
[NodeName: fmm_main: fmm.threshold.card.degraded:debug]: Flash Cache in slot 3 (model name X1971A-R5, serial number XXXXXXXXX, part number 111-00708): A percentage of flash device is offline that exceeds the warning threshold. The flash device needs to be repaired or replaced.
[NodeName: fmm_main: callhome.flash.cache.degraded:debug]: Call home for Flash Cache DEGRADED

  • FMM-DATA logs report that flash cache is offline
