Issue

  • After replacing a failed disk, the new disk was not automatically assigned to any node, even though disk auto-assign was set to ON
  • The disk appeared as unassigned and had to be manually assigned

Example:

CLUSTER::> disk option show

Node        Bkg. FW. Upd.   Auto Copy   Auto Assign   Auto Assign Policy
----------- --------------- ----------- ------------- ------------------
CLUSTER-01  on               on          on            default
CLUSTER-02  on               on          on            default
2 entries were displayed.

CLUSTER::> node run -node CLUSTER-01 -command disk show -n

DISK        OWNER        POOL   SERIAL NUMBER   HOME
----------- ------------ ------ --------------- --------
1c.21.16    Not Owned    NONE   xxxxxxxx

SYSCONFIG -A
21.16: NETAPP   X343_SSKBE1T8A10 NA05 1713.5GB 520B/sect (xxxxxxx)
