Issue

  • EMS has error cluster network degraded:
    Example:

    Callhome.clus.net.degraded: Call home for CLUSTER NETWORK DEGRADED: Total Packet Loss - Ping failures detected between cluster-b_Clus2 ( ip address ) on cluster-b and cluster-a_Clus2 ( ip address ) on cluster-a

    vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.droppedall:alert]: Total packet loss when pinging from cluster lif cluster-lif1 (node Node1) to cluster lif cluster-lif2 (node node1).

    vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.droppedall:alert]: Total packet loss when pinging from cluster lif cluster-lif1 (node Node2) to cluster lif cluster-lif2 (node Node2).

    vifmgr: callhome.clus.net.degraded:alert]: Call home for CLUSTER NETWORK DEGRADED: Large MTU Packet Loss - Ping failures detected between Node1_clus1 ( 169.254.XXX.XXX ) on Node1 and Node2_clus1 ( 169.254.XXX.XX ) on Node2

  • Port is up/up in network interface show
  • Pings are getting lost when pinging the destination

network ping -lif <interconnect logical Interface> -vserver <vserver name> -destination <target ip>
