After ONTAP reboot problem with network interfaces in portset

Issue

  • Errors reported after maintenance activity which required an ONTAP node reboot for example update from 9.8 to 9.11
  • Target LIF errors after login to the FC fabric
  • Host side path loss
  • Number of host initiators do not login to the storage
  • Symptoms include initiators of only one fabric/switch or zone impacted
Example:
Initiator "abc" is not logged in to any network interfaces in portset "xyz" on either node of the HA pair
