ANDU paused due to the node failing to boot with an error g_vfs_done()ada0s1 WRITE

Issue

  • ANDU pauses due to the node not fully booting up.
  • System console access to the node via SP/BMC reveals that the node reports the following error multiple times.

mount_msdosfs: /dev/ada0s1: Input/output error
g_vfs_done():ada0s1[WRITE(offset=16384, length=4096)]error = 5
g_vfs_done():ada0s1[WRITE(offset=16384, length=4096)]error = 5

  • Eventually, the node halts at LOADER.

g_vfs_done():ada0s1[WRITE(offset=16384, length=4096)]error = 5
Uptime: 1m20s
System halting...
