Issue

ONTAP might incorrectly alert for nvmem.battery.chgrFailed event in the following specific conditions:

  1. Erroneously trigger when the NVDIMM battery is in a learning cycle.
  2. Fail to trigger when the NVDIMM battery charger is completely non-operational.
  3. If the NVDIMM battery charger is charging and the NVDIMM battery is discharging for five minutes, instead of triggering the event the system will shutdown in twenty minutes.
