CONTAP-350662: Ethernet switch health monitoring might use an incorrect CSHM file, causing log collection to act unexpectedly

Issue

  • An older CSHM file for Broadcom BES-53248 Ethernet switches might override the ONTAP version and lack support for log collection, resulting in the following message:

::*> system switch ethernet log modify -device [DEVICE] -log-request true
Do you want to modify the cluster switch log collection configuration? {y|n}: y
Error: command failed: entry doesn't exist
  • Outdated CSHM files for NVIDIA X190006-PE and X190006-PI Ethernet switches might override the ONTAP version and lack Cumulus Linux (CL) 5.11 commands, causing periodic log collection files to list errors:


  1. csmgrctl -s
    ERROR:
