Issue

Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) 13.11 for NetApp AFF A400, AFF C400, ASA A400, ASA C400, FAS8700 and FAS8300 systems includes the following bug fixes and enhancements that improve reliability and security:

  • Upgrade OpenSSH to 9.8p1
  • Upgrade OpenSSL to 3.0.14
  • Support for configurable SSH host key algorithms
  • Add a warning message when a BMC firmware update is in progress
  • Bug 1588573: ONTAP reports sp.dup.ip: SP IP address x.x.x.x in use by another system on BMC FW 13.10 or earlier
  • Bug 1591536: BMC 13.x "system console" logs are not fully captured in ONTAP AutoSupport messages
  • CFBMC-3996: Node reboots due to SP HBT STOPPED on BMC 13.10P1
  • CFBMC-4065: Repeated "Error in Decrypting IPMI User Password for user with ID:2" messages after BMC upgrade to 13.3 or later
  • CFBMC-4179: Access to bmc systemshell on BMC 13.x denied when password includes special characters
