Issue

  • Switch health subsystem is in "unknown" status, with no "system health alert show" reports. Example:
    [::> system health subsystem show -subsystem switch-health -instance]
    [ Subsystem: Switch-Health]
    [ Health: unknown]
    [ Initialization State: start_discovery]
    [ Number of Outstanding Alerts: 0]
    [ Number of Suppressed Alerts: 0]
    [ Node: node_name]
    [ Subsystem Refresh Interval: 5m]

  • No unknown/suspicious entries when checking:
    [::> system switch ethernet show]

  • The issue remains after cshmd restart.

  • No [event log show -event hm] reported.

  • The issue remains after shmd restart.
