CHW-3052: System shuts down because the NVMEM battery capacity is below normal

Issue

  •  System shuts down because of a battery learning issue. EMS events report: 

[Node-01: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.capLowWarn:error]: The NVMEM battery capacity is below normal (3 cycles).
   [Node-01: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.fccLowCrit:EMERGENCY]: The NVMEM battery full-charge capacity is critically low (25 ). To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 20 minutes.
   [Node-01: env_mgr: callhome.battery.failure:EMERGENCY]: Call home for BATTERY (full capacity critical low) CRITICAL.
   [Node-01: statd: monitor.nvramLowBattery:EMERGENCY]: NVRAM battery is dangerously low.
   [Node-01: statd: monitor.nvramLowBattery.notice:notice]: If the NVRAM battery is dangerously low, the system shuts down automatically every 24 hours to encourage you to replace it. If you reboot the system it will run for another 24 hours before shutting down.
   [Node-01: statd: callhome.battery.low:alert]: Call home for BATTERY_LOW.
   [Node-01: statd: monitor.shutdown.nvramLowBattery.pending:alert]: NVRAM battery is dangerously low. Halting system in 24 hours. Replace the battery immediately!
   [Node-01: env_mgr: monitor.shutdown.emergency:EMERGENCY]: Emergency shutdown: Environmental Reason Shutdown (BATTERY (full capacity critical low) for 20 mins)
  • BMC system event log show a battery learning cycle failure. Then battery cycle later succeeds

 [BMC.notice]: *Battery Learning cycle failed with error 0x88*

 [BMC.notice]: *Battery learning cycle is a success*
 [IPMI.notice]: 0153 | 02 | EVT: ef06ffff | Bat_Status | Deassertion Event, "Learn Cycle"
