  • BMC firmware has been signed with updated security keys and certificates
  • BMC security infrastructure handles BMC firmware upgrades that involve updated certificates
  • However, once the BMC firmware version uses updated security keys and certificates, the BMC firmware cannot be downgraded to an earlier version that does not use them.
